And from 4:20pm (aug 14) to 3:20am (aug15) I was in this massive blackout that, to my undercstanding, effected the whole east coast and was one of the biggest blackouts since some year long before I was born.

Normally, being in Canada, I wouldn't be effected by thise national.... thing. But it effected the Canadian power plants because our power system is hooked up to yours so we can sell volts to the states.
