One thing I just noticed about Yuku is the Yuku chat. :O How long has that been there!?

Seemed to work fine. Now if only others could use it at the same time...

I started my own board about a half year back, and within the past month, I, too, was Yuku'd I really don't care for it at all. It required so much extra work to relearn all there was to making my board. It is still suffering tacky default color trauma, and the faq/support site is absolutely worthless. My deepest sympaties to the admins, who I'm sure are going through a problem like mine. Hopefully, they will make their "user-friendly" board system workable.

Lulz. It took a while, but everything was pointing towards a change, eventually.

For odd reasons, the forum still looks the same, only posts are a little more stretched. Other boards take on a drastic change, even though layouts and all that other stuff were kept exactly as they were.
Converting to Yuku can take a toll, as many things are new and a bit wonky to figure out. It took my a good while just to figure out how to change my avatar! D: One thing I never really got used...

all ezboards will eventually be converted, either automatically or manually, but according to their faq login, posts, topics, etc will all stay the same.

The HTML thing is actually a setting we chose. BBC Code can be used as well I believe.

Many ez boards have been Yuku'd already, and many have a beta Yuku page up (it's usually just spammed on, though), but the ez one is still the main one until it's converted.

What exactly do you mean a "normal" forum? It seems normal enough to me.

Anyway, that all depends on whether our subscription is transferred too. We're paying to use this board and if we lose Gold Community during the move... I'm not down.

According to wikipedia, they have said all ezboards will be converted, but there is no set timelimit cause there are still bugs to work out before the millions of ppl who use this get converted

but we can go ahead and have the board converted on our own...if an admin requests it.

I would actually like to see this happen, but unless yuku goes ahead and forces the change its probably not going to. There is a message on the front page of these forums that says they will convert later this week. That message has been there for well over a month now so I'm not exactly sure.

I saw this when i was logging in (an ad for it), and according to wikipedia, all EZ boards (i guess including this one) will eventually be converted into Yuku boards

but honestly, from the screenshots on the wikipedia page, i cant wait for this to happen....lol. Finally this forum will act...like a normal forum!

should we consider having the board converted? since its just gonna happen...
