(Okay, lazy as hell, so I'm just copy and pasting my app from the comic post thingie. XD)

Name: Meoshira
Nickname: Meo (the most common and she prefers to be called by this.)
Gender: Female
Age: early 20's. (possibly 21)
Specie: Hybrid; she's a cross between a Yoshi and a Lucky Cat. (Meowth, technically.)
Skin colour: Tan. (underneath the fur, it's actually very pale pink.)
Eye colour: Gold.
Alliance: Good.
Appearance: Along with her tan fur, she's got brown markings on both her feet and the tip of her tail. Her tail is also stumpy like a Yoshi's, but her feet are remniscent of a cat's. She has little shiny black claws tipping each finger, as well as pawpads underneath each one, as well as a large one on each palm.
Distinguishing features: Her "hair" is made up of six whiskers: There's two on each side of her head, which are smaller and adorn her cheeks. The remaining two are much larger and on the top of her head, which bend down like bangs. Though, this also gets her confused for a rabbit. The last feature is in between those "bangs", there's a large gold koban on her head made of a rare gold. (Which DOESN'T turn skin green. ;D)

Personality: Meo is very happy-go-lucky and carefree; she loves meeting new people, but sometimes gets a little wary at first glance until she gets to know them. She's easily exciteable in large crowds, which can also render her a bit shy, too. She remains very loyal to those she cares about, and doing anything she can to help out.

When provoked, she becomes quite the beast: she can be biting, shrewd, and even sarcastic. And if anyone rubs her the wrong way or makes her (or her friends) feel uncomfortable or inferior, she's not afraid to give them a bite or a scratch as warning. If they still keep doing it, run for it, because Meo WILL be one yoshi to make you take your words back. But in very rare cases, she could sometimes forgive old enemies, but at times, she can also be one to hold a grudge if they scarred her deeply enough.

She can be a little jaded when it comes to those she's not sure about or doesn't know very well, since she's afraid that she'll often be the source of ridicule. So she tries her best to remain on everyone's good side. She also at times, gets very antsy or fidgety, or she gets uncomfortable in situations she's not familiar with.

...oh, and she also likes anything golden or shiny. And fish. Don't forget fish. (She likes food in general, but fish or anything made with it is her prime delicacy.) So, one way to get to Meo's good side? Food and shiny things. Doesn't take much to please her.

Strengths: She can naturally defend herself, so material weapons aren't needed for protection. She has a keen sense of scent, as well as a sharp ear for hearing noises in the distance. Also has a great sense of balance, which is useful since she can traverse across thin or narrow pathways with ease, and a skilled climber, which works to an advantage since she doesn't have to attack primarily on the ground.

She also has insane amounts of luckiness due to the charm on her head (and what specie she is). As an added bonus, anyone within her vicinity will get their good luck increased exponentially; an example is if there's a fight going on and if one person is about to get arrowed while being near her, the arrow will completely miss said person by a hair.

Weaknesses: Absolutely HAAAAATES water. Like all cats, she's deathly afraid of it. (But she's slowly trying to get over her fear.) So any water-borne monster can deal great damage to her. Plus she can also be very skittish, and at times during hardcore fighting, she'll be all over the place, trying to organize her thoughts.

Weapon of Choice: Claws and teeth. She can have quite a naaaaasty bite. (aka, natural defenses.)

Attacks: Besides the conventional clawing, scratching and biting, Meo has a couple tricks up her sleeves:

GOLDEN VOLLEY: Lacing her finger along the surface of her koban coin, she can multiply it in her hand, and use them as sharpened projectiles. Capable of tearing up skin and scratching up armor a great deal, but alas, not very strong. Only used for wounding the enemy to make it easier to attack.

LUCKY STRIKE: Just a fancy name for a specialized scratch attack. She can use this one distanced. Basically, she concentrates, and with a sweeping motion, three whitish lines zoom from her claws and hit the opponent, leaving three visible (and rather garish looking) scratchmarks along their body. Works better for non-armored enemies.

Also, along with this is her insane amounts of good luck, and her ability to let others (mainly allies or friends of hers) within her vicinity gain that sense of luck as well. Useful for evasion or attempting to get the upperhand on the enemies. This makes her a royal pain to try pinning down for a kill.

Membership: Member of the Aurorium for 7 years and counting. With rather close ties to the administrators, and tries to lend out a helping hand wherever possible.

Brief background: Not much is known where Meo had first come from. Some say she had come from a small isle known as Emora, where more of her kind were known to reside. She can recall images of a couple loved ones she had, but most of it comes as a blur to her.

The most recalled memory she has is that when she was young, she was in a small boat set sail for the Moon Goddess' Island; towards a place called the "Aurorium". No captain, no sailors. Just her, alone, in a small vessel the size of a fruit crate.

Upon her arrival, she was very disoriented, so she spent her time hiding amongst the trees in the forests, lurking since she was unsure of how the residents of this island would come to accept her due to her... obvious features. Though, one belief she had that she was sent here was due to a Yoshi Goddess named "Luna", one that she had idolized back in her youth.

Luna had known of her coming, and it wasn't too long before one day, Jae and Coral had discovered her trying to forage for food. Curious to what she was, they had brought her back to the Aurorium with them, where she had met other hybrids like herself (namely Vap for example), and came to the realization she wasn't sent here to die or to have her golden charm ripped from her head.

From the help and hospitality of Coral and the others ever since that day, she's found a certain kinship amongst these Yoshies amongst a few others, remaining vigilant and lending out a helping hand wherever possible to the Yoshies she's formed these friendships with. However, she grows wary of newer faces, since it takes her quite a bit to trust others.

Meo's not sure why she was brought here to this mysterious island, let alone why she was on a boat in the first place towards it. Was it predestined? Did the Aurorium want something with her? What has become of her home island of Emora and the others there that she's known? Does someone want her eradicated...? She still tries to ponder these questions and many others of why she was brought here.

The answers could be much more complex than she thinks.. and they're not expected to come so easily..

Other Notes: Aforementioned, it's stated that Meo feared having the charm torn off from her head. Y'see, with Meo's kind, her coin, when rubbed, will give the rub-ee temporarily amounts of good luck if they're away from her. Yet, there are some people that are quite greedy and will want that luck and fortune 24/7, so they'll attempt to rip the charm off. If one of Meo's kind has their charm torn off their head, it could greatly wound them, or if they're already weak, even kill them. It could be grown back, yet it could take several months to even a couple years depending on how young and healthy a "Koban Kitty" is.

However, there's been very very few (in any) successful stories to obtaining the charm off this certain kind of hybrid, since many would get mortally wounded in the process. One could take a chance tranquilizing them first, but even that in itself is very hazardous. Not only are they very quick, the charm is literally attached to their skull; even if put under a sleep, it could take so long trying to get it off that they could come to and attack the potential obtainer while in the middle of attempting to acquire the piece of rare gold.

If it DOES manage to be taken off by a weapon or the like (let's say.. a point-blank bullet or a well-aimed rock breaks it off the head or dislodges it from the skull), it's EXTREMELY painful. It would also result in profuse bleeding from the head and the victim is rendered unconscious for quite a while. It's the equivalent of a gunshot to the forehead, except instant death wouldn't occur.

Trust me, kids. It ain't safe. But it could make for some good gags (with the whole "rubbing the charm" thing) or plot development. :D
